Yuliya Tabenska is a graphic designer, illustrator, and picture book maker. She works mainly in collage, assemblage, and mixed media techniques.
Recently, she has been fascinated by motion design and creates animations.
Books with illustrations by Yulia Tabenska have been awarded at the Lviv BookForum and represented Ukraine at book fairs in Paris, Frankfurt, and Warsaw.
She is a two-time scholarship holder of the Gaude Polonia programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.
In 2019, she was nominated for the Little Hakka International Picture Book Award for her picture book “Talk to Me”.
Yuliya collaborates with a number of Ukrainian and foreign publishing houses, foundations and cultural institutions.
